General Shipping Information
UPS and USPS are our primary shipping couriers. Our shipping charges are based on the overall weight of your order, not per item. Therefore, the rates may seem expensive for orders with few items, but more reasonable for orders with multiple items. Some online vendors charge per item. So, $5 for a single item may seem cheap, but $25 for 5 items is excessive. We try to match our rates as closely as possible to the actual rates we're charged. We generally add a small amount to USPS shipping charges for insurance, which is also calculated into your shipping charge during checkout. This amount is currently 1% of your order total, which is much less than USPS actually charges for insurance.
UPS Ground vs. USPS Priority
- USPS tends to be a cheaper option for small orders weighing only a few pounds.
- UPS tends to be cheaper for larger orders.
- Unlike UPS, USPS does not charge extra for residential deliveries.
- UPS has better tracking information available.
- UPS is extremely reliable.
- USPS has proven to be very reliable over the past few years.
- UPS Ground takes 1-5 business days guaranteed (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
- USPS Priority takes 1-3 business days but offers no guarantee (excluding Sunday only).
- USPS has the benefit of Saturday deliveries at no extra charge, which can make a big difference.
- USPS transit times tend to slow down during the holidays or during high-volume periods.
PO Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses
UPS does not ship to PO Boxes (or APO/FPO). In such cases, please select USPS Priority Mail as your shipping method. Otherwise, your shipping charges may be adjusted to reflect USPS rates. The transit times listed below are not applicable for APO/FPO shipments. In such cases, please expect much longer transit times.
Order Processing & Transit Times
Most orders will ship on the same business day or the next business day. There are always exceptions, and we make no promises to have orders shipped by the next business day. Special orders usually ship within 1-3 business days. USPS Priority Mail generally takes 1-3 days (excluding Sunday) for delivery. However, this is not guaranteed by USPS or us. Please expect longer transit times for USPS shipments during the holidays. The following map shows the number of days (excluding Saturday and Sunday) you can expect your package to be in transit via UPS GROUND.

Upon shipment, you should receive a shipment notification email, including tracking numbers for UPS shipments. To track UPS shipments, Go To UPS Tracking.

Cowhill Express Return Policy
This is the return policy for retail items purchased on our website. This is not the return policy for wholesale customers.
If the reason for return is an error on our part, we will replace the items or give you a full refund. This includes shipping charges. We will arrange for a courier, such as UPS, to pick up the original items.
If there is no error on our part, you can still return most unopened items within 30 days of your order's ship date. In such cases, we will provide you with a full refund less shipping charges. The customer is responsible for getting the items back to us in good condition. Upon receiving the returned items, we will provide a refund.
